Worship & Teaching Services

Each service is about 75 minutes in length. This includes time of worship in music, worship in celebrating the Lord’s Supper, time of fellowship, a few announcements and teaching from the Scriptures. From time to time we have personal testimonies, times of prayer, puppets, or other creative means of illustrating the truths of Scripture.

Our teachings are based on an explanation of Biblical truths. We trust the teaching is relevant, practical, thought provoking, and life changing – it is after all God’s Word.

  • 9:00 Blended Worship: music is a blend of traditional and contemporary songs.
  • 10:45 Contemporary Worship: music is more energetic.
  • Both services have the same teaching.

Lord’s Supper

The Gospel (good news) of our Lord Jesus Christ is at the center of all we do. We believe it is by Jesus Christ’s sacrificial death on the cross, his burial and resurrection, that we can enter into a new covenant of grace with the Father.

To highlight the centrality of the Gospel in our lives, and to remind ourselves that our relationship with the Father is based on the grace offered through the work of the Son, we celebrate the Lord’s Supper every week.

We invite all those who are trusting in Christ alone for their salvation to participate with us.

What if you don’t want to participate?

We understand that not all who come to our services will feel comfortable participating in the Lord’s Supper.

First, we are glad you chose to come to the services; second, please don’t feel like you have to participate. In fact, if you are not sure where you are at with Christ or if you are living in open rebellion to God, we ask that you don’t participate. We welcome you to engage in the music, the fellowship, and the teaching.

We believe the Lord’s Supper is something we get to do and we enjoy doing it! It reminds us each week of God’s overwhelming love of us and His grace extended to us based solely on the finished work of Christ on our behalf.

Atmosphere

We like to think of ourselves as a warm, friendly, and welcoming body of believers in Jesus Christ. (Come see for yourself.)

The dress is casual with sincere hearts which are open to the working of the Lord. (A shower and deodorant would be nice too, but there are no smell police at the door.)

We are not very traditional in a liturgical sense. So, if you are looking for a more liturgical worship, we might not be the place for you.

Children & Youth

Nursery thru 5th grade have ministries designed for them during both the 9:00 & 10:45 services. Your children are always welcome in the services – we do have some families who enjoy being in church as a family.

Junior High and High School groups meet at 9:00 and join us in worship at 10:45.
