Sunday Follow-Up on John 7.1-52 December 8, 2014

On Sunday we looked together at John 7.1-52.  Jesus taught at the Jewish Feast of Tabernacles (or Feast of Booths).  In this text we saw a lot of diverse and varied unbelieving reactions and conclusions on display regarding Jesus’ identity.

Here is the bulletin insert from Sunday morning: John 7.1-52 Insert.

New Song “Prepare Him Room” December 3, 2014

This last Sunday Brian and the team introduced a new song to us about the birth of Christ called “Prepare Him Room.”  We plan to sing this song together throughout this Christmas season.  The song comes from the recent Christmas album put out by Sovereign Grace Music.  You can listen to the song (and the full album) for free online.  The album is also available on Spotify if you use this program.  We are looking forward to singing this song together this Christmas season.

Sunday Follow-Up on John 6.1-40 November 24, 2014

This last Sunday we studied John 6.1-40 where Jesus feeds the 5,000 and then begins to speak about the fact that he is the true bread of life. I know most small groups are probably not meeting this week with Thanksgiving on Thursday, but here is Sunday’s insert in case you still want to utilize the questions yourself: John 6.1-40 Insert.

Next Sunday we will finish John chapter 6.  Have a happy Thanksgiving!

New Song Preview November 19, 2014

This Sunday we will be singing a new song in church.  I will be preaching on John 6.1-40 where Jesus talks about being the bread of life.  This new song called Come to the Feast picks up on this theme and serves as a great invitation to the Lord’s Supper.  If you want to give the song a listen before we sing it together on Sunday, you can listen for free here.  You can also listen with a video of the lyrics here.

I am looking forward to worshiping with everyone on Sunday.
