The book of Ecclesiastes has a lot to say about the reality of death. We have seen that death can impart wisdom to those who are open to learning. This last Sunday we looked at some of the specific wisdom-lessons we can learn from the reality of death. While this is a serious topic, we also saw that the author of Ecclesiastes commands us to find joy in the simple pleasures in life since death is such an unpredictable reality in our lives.
