Hebrews 3.1-6 Follow-Up October 26, 2015

In Hebrews 3.1-6 Jesus is compared and contrasted with Moses, and Jesus is shown to be worthy of much greater honor. Through this comparison the author of Hebrews encourages us to stay faithful to God by remembering who Jesus is and remembering who we are in Christ. Both are vital if we are going to stand firm. Here are the study questions based on Sunday’s sermon: Hebrews 3.1-6 Notes.

Also, don’t forget that after this week we will be introducing a new memory verse for the book of Hebrews. Finish up memorizing the current passage: Heb. 2.17-18, and don’t forget to keep reviewing!

Hebrews 2.5-9 Follow-up October 5, 2015

On Sunday as we studied Hebrews 2.5-9, we were reminded that God originally created mankind to oversee creation for His glory, but, because of sin, humanity has continually failed to live up to what God made us to be. However, we can look to Jesus Christ who rules and reigns in the heavens and is working to restore His people. If you need the study questions based on the sermon, here they are: Hebrews 2.5-9 Notes.

Also, don’t forget that we are starting a new Scripture memory passage in Hebrews this month. The passage for the month of October is Hebrews 2.17-18.
